Additions to the Flora of South Indian States

Abstract


Four species namely Cylindropuntia ramosissima (Engelm.) F.M. Knuth (Cactaceae), Hypoestes sanguinolenta Hook. (Acanthaceae), Solanum sisymbrifolium Lam. (Solanaceae) and Sphagneticola trilobata (L.) Pruski (Asteraceae) are reported here as new records to the following South Indian states Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh respectively. Detailed description with color photographs and notes are provided for easy identification.
